Lenovo has been unveiling and releasing quite a number of products this year and that trend has continued during this year’s IFA with the announcement of an array of new solutions for desktop, laptop, and mobile users. In total, the company announced one new AIO solution, four new laptops, and a new 2-in-1 solution.
Ideacentre AIO 700 Desktop PC
Starting with their new desktop solution, Lenovo’s new all-in-one (AIO) desktop PC, the Ideacentre AIO 700, comes in either 24-inch 1080p or 27-inch UHD display sizes/resolutions. It can also feature JBL stereo 3w speakers, up to a 6th generation Intel Core i7 CPU, up to an Nvidia GeForce GTX 950A graphics chip, up to 16GB of RAM, up to a 2TB hard drive, and Windows 10 Home. The Ideacenter AIO 700 can also come with Intel’s new RealSense 3D camera and Intel’s dual microphone Voice Recognition technology. Prices for the AIO 700 start at $899 and will be available sometime in October.
New Ideapad Laptops
Next is Lenovo’s new laptops which include the Ideapad 100S, Ideapad 300, Ideapad 300S, and Ideapad 500. The cheapest of the bunch, the Ideapad 100S, comes in 11- or 14-inch screen sizes and features up to an Intel Core i7 processor, up to an Nvidia GeForec GTX 940M graphics chip, up to 8GB of RAM, and up to 1TB of storage.
The Ideapad 300 comes in 14-, 15.6-, and 17.3-inch screen sizes and comes with either an Intel 6th generation Core processor paired with up to an AMD Radeon M330 and up to 16GB of RAM or an Intel Braswell N3700 processor coupled with up to an Nvidia GeForce 920 and 8GB of RAM. All the Ideapad 300 variants can be equipped with either a 1TB or SSHD.
The higher-specced Ideapad 300S comes in either 11- or 14-inch screen sizes with full HD resolution and features up to an Intel Core i7 processor, up to an Nvidia GeForce 940M graphics chip, up to 8GB of RAM, up to 1TB of storage.
Lastly, the Ideapad 500 will be available in either 14- or 15.6-inch screen sizes with full HD resolution displays and can feature either an AMD Carrizo FX-8800P or 6th generation Intel Core i7 processor, up to 16GB of RAM, and up to 1TB of storage. The Intel variant can also feature an Intel RealSense 3D camera.
All of Lenovo’s new Ideapad laptops will come with Windows 10 Home pre-installed. The Ideapad 300S and 500 will available first sometime in September with prices starting at 349 Euros for the 300S and 599 Euros for the 500. As for the Ideapad 100S and 300, they will be available in November with prices starting at 299 Euros and 499 Euros, respectively.
Ideapad MIIX 700 2-in-1
Definitely the most interesting of their announcements, the new Ideapad MIIX 700 is Lenovo’s newest 2-in-1 device which combines a 12-inch tablet with a folio keyboard and is powered by up to a 6th generation Intel Core m7 processor coupled with Intel HD graphics. It can also feature up to 8GB of RAM, and up to 256GB of built-in storage – both of which are quite hefty for a tablet device.
The 12-inch display on the MIIX 700 is available in different resolutions which can go all the way up to 2160 x 1440 pixels. It’s also equipped with 5-megapixel front and rear cameras although the front-facing camera can be exchanged with Intel’s RealSense 3D camera. Lastly, according to Lenovo, the battery on the Ideapad MIIX 700 can last up to 9 hours of continuous video playback.
The Ideapad MIIX 700 2-in-1 will be available sometime early next year with prices starting at 999 Euros.
