Introducing Huawei Video: exclusive access to Asian entertainment
Streaming services are as popular as ever, especially with most people staying home these days. As such, Huawei is introducing its own video streaming app through an exclusive-access promotion available to select Huawei device users.
Huawei Video is a subscription video on-demand (SVOD) app that features content from a host of film/TV production outfits, namely Mango TV, TVB, and Dimsum Entertainment, among others. Each has a dedicated ‘channel’ on Huawei Video, offering a variety of content such as Asian dramas, music festivals/concerts, and nature documentaries.
This free trial period lasts between June 15 to November 30, 2020. Huawei Y6P users qualify for some free Huawei Video access as well, with 2 months of free TVB content from May 15 to August 21, 2020.
How to redeem Huawei Video exclusive gifts
On the qualifying device’s Member Centre app, the Huawei Video internal banner will display the “(device name) Users Exclusive Subscriber Plan”, where users can click the “Claim Now” button to confirm eligibility for the promotion. Users will find a new page labeled “Coupons” which when clicked, displays the corresponding gift/trial promotion for their device. Users can click “Use Now” and then “Purchase” to confirm redemption of the gift.
