HUAWEI’s TruSense empowers users to take a proactive approach to health

As the world continues in its health-conscious era, the demand for wearables geared toward health and fitness continues to grow simultaneously. Enter HUAWEI with its new TruSense system that is meant to improve the speed and accuracy of your health and fitness monitoring.

I was privileged enough to attend the launch event of HUAWEI TruSense at the Banyan Tree Hotel in Dongguan, China. Rico Zhang, President of HUAWEI’s Smart Wearable and Health Product Line, opened the event with a deep dive into the new system. He was then followed by industry experts who discussed the value of accurate health monitoring on wearables.

The main takeaway from the launch was that TruSense will enable HUAWEI’s upcoming wearables to have tracking and monitoring comparable to that of devices used in the medical field. The accuracy of basic indicators such as heart rate, SpO2 and blood pressure have been certified by authoritative industry bodies.

With HUAWEI’s innovations, TruSense is able to measure more than 60 health and fitness indicators, covering six of the body’s major systems, while remaining incredibly accurate and comprehensive. The user’s emotional wellbeing can also be monitored through the wide array of data gathered by the sensor.

Personally, I see these breakthroughs relevant in the way we Filipinos view our health. TruSense has the capability to empower us to be more proactive and take an approach that is geared towards preventive measures rather than reactive, thus encouraging us to lead healthier lifestyles. Watch out for the first batch of HUAWEI TruSense-powered products soon. Make sure to stay tuned for more details.
