Yesterday, Huawei officially debuted the Nova 7i through an online live stream. We’ve been impressed with the 5T, which boasted flagship specs at a mid-range price. Now, we have the 7i—dubbed the stylish gamer—it features 48MP AI quad rear cameras, a 6.4″ LCD punch hole display, 8GB RAM + 128 GB ROM, and a 4,200 mAh of battery. It also comes with the same innovative side fingerprint scanner as we first saw on the Nova 5T.
This stylish new addition to the Nova line has its four rear cameras set in a grid—quite reminiscent of the looks of Samsung’s A71, if I must say. It comprises of a 48 MP main shooter + 8MP ultra-wide lens + 2MP macro lens + 2MP bokeh lens. The phone also comes with several new AI features like a AI video editor that can ‘reshape’ one’s figure and is the first phone in the Nova line to have a night selfie capability.
It’ll be a treat to stream and game on this one, as it has a 6.4″ LCD punch-hole full view screen with a 90.6% screen-to-body ratio. Inside, it is powered by the Kirin 810 chip coupled with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of ROM. It’s 4,200 mAh cell is also supplemented with Huawei’s 40W supercharger to get the phone fully powered in no time.
It i availsable in Crush Green, Midnight Black, and Sakura Pink and will retail at P13,990 and will be available for pre-order from March 12-22, just deposit P500 and pay the remaining amount from March 23-24. Launched alongside the Nova 7i is the Band 4 Pro. Part of the Band 4 family, we got to try out the Band 4 and loved it. It has pretty much the same features as the Band 4 except that it has a GPS built into it. It has 12 workout guides (3 more than what came with the Band 4), and is water resistant up to 5ATM or 50 meters. It also comes with heart rate monitoring and sleep tracking. The watch face is also customizable with over 100 designs to choose from.
It comes in three colors: graphite black, cinnabar red, and pink gold and will retail at P2,990 and will be available for pre-order on Lazada and Shopee right now until the 16th and comes with a speaker worth P990.
