In the global launch of the P40 series, Huawei also announced their new wearable, the GT2e. Last February, in their Together 2020 global livestream taking place of the cancelled MWC in Barcelona. Here, they launched several new devices including the trendy new successor to the foldable Mate X, the Mate Xs, the Matebook X Pro, and the MatePad Pro.
Watch GT2e
You’ve seen the Watch GT2 and its amazing battery life, now, here’s its little brother, the Watch GT2e. It’s powered by the same Kirin A1 chip and comes with 85 workout modes. There are also new features modes added too, like new workouts such as skateboard, surfing, rock climbing, and more. There’s also a period tracker for women along with the usual heart rate, sleep, and stress tracking.
It flaunts a 1.39 inch AMOLED display flaunts over 200 customizable watch faces to choose from. It has 4GB of storage and can store up to 500 songs, give or take and pair to your earbuds when you workout. It is water resistant up to 5ATM or 50 meters and comes with a new strap design made of fluoroelastomer that comes in Lava Red, Mint Green, and Black.
It is now available for pre-order until the 24th of April and will retail at P6,990. The Lava Red shade will be exclusively available on e-commerce only. Pre-orders will also come with freebies worth P1,190.
MateBook X Pro
The MateBook X Pro the third iteration of the MateBook X family and is the brand’s premier notebook offering that’s both sleek and powerful. It features a 13.9 inch touch capacitive display with a 91% screen-to-body ratio. It comes with a 10th Gen Intel i7 processor and NVIDIA GeForce MX250 GPU along with up to 16GB of memory and 1TB of SSD storage.
With a 56Wh battery, Huawei says it can give you 6 hours of work with only a quick 30-minute charge. The notebook also features a fingerprint scanner embedded in its power button and a retracting camera, so you won’t have to worry about your security.
You can get it in three colors: emerald green, space grey, and mystic silver. It is now available for pre-order until the 24th of April will retail at P119,990 and will come with freebies worth P11,990, including a pair of the new Freebuds 3.
MatePad Pro
The MatePad Pro is Huawei’s answer to Apple’s Ipad Pro. The 10.8 inch tablet features slim bezels and a 90% screen-to-body ratio with a punch hole for the front camera. Coming with two optional accessories like the M-Pencil and Smart Magnetic Cover and Keyboard, you can work and create on the go. Powered by the flagship Kirin 990 4G chipset that powers Huawei’s newest flagships like the P40 and Mate 30 series (there’s also a 5G version available but only the 4G option is available in the country).
It has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of ROM and is powered by a huge 7,250 mAh battery and supports wireless and reverse charging, too.
It comes in four gorgeous shades—pearl white, midnight grey, orange, and forest green—and retails for P32,990. Like the first two devices, pre-orders are open now until the 24th of April and comes with freebies worth P13,990 including the M Pencil and Smart Keyboard.
