On October 10, 2025, Honda Foundation, Inc. (HFI), in partnership with the Cebu office of Honda Philippines, Inc. (HPI), donated relief packs to 500 households in Barangay Binabag, Bogo City, Cebu, which were severely affected by the recent earthquake. Each package contained essential food items for the community’s recovery. The donations were distributed directly to the families and through the barangay’s purok leaders to ensure they were delivered efficiently and fairly.
“At Honda, through HFI, we want to reach out to our fellow Filipinos going through this difficult time. We extend our sincerest thoughts and sympathies to everyone affected. May you all recover as soon as possible, and please stay safe”, said Ms. Rie Miyake, President of HFI and Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI). HFI vows to stay committed to uplifting communities and upholding the spirit of bayanihan in times of adversity.
The relief operation was carried out by a team of dedicated HPI Cebu Associates, led by Mr. Reynaldo Casia, Deputy Department Manager for Visayas Field Sales. Members of HFI include HPI, HCPI, Honda Parts Manufacturing, Corp. (HPMC), and Honda Trading Philippines Ecozone, Corp. (HTPE).
