This August, Honor has announced the rollout of the EMUI 9.1 Update to give a boost to phone favorites, Honor 8X, Honor 9, Honor 10, Honor 10 Lite, and Honor Play with performance-optimizing features, interface enhancements, and AI-assisted features.
Gamers, test the power of GPU Turbo 3.0. using the latest generation of GPU Turbo, it offers top quality graphics while reducing System-on-Chip (SoC) power consumption. With the new updates from EMUI 9.1, gamers can enjoy 25 of the most popular games at topnotch quality including Mobile Legends, PUBG, ROS, Fortnite, and more.
All Honor phones will also experience the surge from the new Extendable Read-Only File System (or EROFS) that’s available with the update. This feature increases the start-up speed of HONOR phones by 10% and hikes up random read performance by as much as 20%.
Looking closer under the hood, the EMUI 9.1 also serves widely appealing features like aesthetic refinements, AI vlog editing, and AR Measure App for more intelligent and exciting experience.
It becomes so much easier to achieve professional-looking frames with the touch of symmetry from the AI vlog editing feature. By extracting the presets, special effects, and background music from previous frames, this helpful feature makes editing less intimidating.
Another practical update from EMUI is the AR Measure App that captures the length, area, and volume of objects with just a touch of a button. Currently on the Honor View 20, this portable measurement tool will soon be available to phones with the EMUI 9.1 update.
