The Honda 0 α is touted as an SUV that beautifully blends with both urban and natural environments. It is a new addition to the lineup, which includes the Honda 0 Saloon and Honda 0 SUV which were initially introduced at CES 2025. The Honda 0 α will serve as a “gateway model” for the Honda 0 Series, which makes its alpha moniker truly fitting. It features a refined design and a spacious cabin that offers outstanding occupant comfort.

The Honda 0 Series will be equipped with ASIMO OS. This is Honda’s in-house vehicle operating system, which is made to support the core functions of these EVs. However, we haven’t received confirmation yet if the Honda 0 alpha will be using the ASIMO OS.

Packaging and exterior design

The styling with a low vehicle height was achieved without compromising ground clearance, creating a thin cabin that still offers a spacious and comfortable space for occupants which embodies the “Thin” approach. The wide stance is expressing stability and dynamic characteristics unique to SUVs.

The exterior features both a sleek and sophisticated body design unique to Honda 0 Series and the original proportions of an SUV. There are screens in both the front and rear ends of the vehicle, both with components that are usually separated. At the front, the headlights, charging lid and illuminated emblem are integrated into the screen area. At the rear, the U-shaped lighting that combines the tail lamps, backup lamps and turn signal lamps, accentuates the contour of the rear screen area, achieving a refined design.

The production model of the Honda 0 α is slated to go on sales globally starting 2027. During an interview with Philippine media at the Japanese Mobility Show 2025, HCPI President Ms. Rie Miyake reiterated that the Honda 0 Series will make its way to our shores. Filipinos should be excited as Honda continues to further its presence in the electric mobility space.
