Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) has begun the safety improvement campaign of select Accord (2003-2006), Civic (2004 & 2005) and Pilot (2006-2007) sold in the Philippines due to a suspected defect in the airbag inflator of the driver side airbag.
To date, there are no reported accidents or injuries related to this concern in the Philippines. But Honda takes this as a preventive measure to ensure the safety of all the owners of the affected vehicles. The automaker requests and encourages the owners of the affected vehicles to contact and set an appointment with any of the authorized Honda car dealerships and service centers nationwide.
