Honda gets aggressive in the scooter space with its latest release. Unveiled at the company’s Scooter Fest on Saturday, February 25 is the new Click 150i. This flagship scooter features the highest displacement among the existing Gen-S Scooter models—the Click 125i, BeAT, and Zoomer-X. It’s no wonder Honda opts to call it the “Ultimate Ride.”
With a new 150cc SOHC engine, the Click 150i promises to not let you down in the power department. It also packs in a bunch of advanced Honda Smart Technology features meant to improve safety and fuel efficiency. The engine comes with Enhanced Smart Power, which promises to produce lower emission, and it has an ACG starter for smooth engine performance. You’re promised better mileage with the Idling Stop System as well as proper tension from the scooter’s front and rear brakes with the Click 150i’s Combined Braking System. Storage isn’t an issue either with its 18-liter U-Box compartment. It also features a premium-looking matte finish, dual-keen headlights, stylish taillight, tubeless tires, and a digital meter panel.
Honda introduces a new Answer Back System to make it easier to look for your ride in a crowded parking lot. You just need to press a button on the key remote and your scooter will respond in one of the three different tones it comes with and blink the light signal at the same time.
Honda hopes to catch the eye of the younger generation of riders with the Click 150i. It comes in Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic, Matte Jasper Brown Metallic, and Matte Ion Blue Metallic. Available at Honda 3S Shops, it comes with a competitive P89,900 suggested retail price.
