Go electric with BYD

Did you know vehicles powered by gasoline have a big footprint? From tailpipe emissions to road infrastructure. Yes, cars can convey a sense of freedom and movement, and also style and social status. But they also can have a big negative impact on our environment.

Gasoline is a toxic and highly flammable liquid. The vapors given off when gasoline evaporates and the substances produced when gasoline is burned contribute to air pollution.

Harmful Effects

1. Affecting Human Health – Air pollutants emitted from cars are believed to cause cancer and contribute to such problems as asthma, heart disease, birth defects and eye irritation.

2. Air Pollution – Emissions from cars increase the levels of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. Which is very harmful to the environment.

3. Global warming  – The engines get worn up with time and they are unable to burn the fuel in the required ratio. This inability leads to the yield of carbon monoxide which harms the ozone layer leading to global warming.

How can you prevent this?

1. Use Fuel-efficient vehicles

It uses less gas to travel the same distance as their less efficient counterparts. When we burn less fuel, we generate fewer emissions. When emissions go down, the pace of global warming slows.

2. How about Hybrid Cars as an alternative for now?

Hybrid vehicles have unique functions, it will be up to you if you will use its gasoline motor or will drive it on electric only. It was also designed to save you fuel and thus money. Knowing what makes hybrids special can save you a lot in the long run.

3. Have you thought about Electric Cars?

Electric cars and trucks that use electricity as fuel, producing fewer emissions than their conventional counterparts. When the electricity comes from renewable sources, all-electric vehicles produce zero emissions to drive.

You see it every time that smoke billows from your car’s exhaust pipe, so there’s no denying that vehicles are major contributors to air pollution. But as a human, you can always contribute.

These and other solutions are here today, but more can be done. The change will always start with you. #LetsGOelectric
