In the wake of Inbox, Google is also updating their Gmail app. Gmail 5.0 will roll out of Play Stores soon. But as early as now, APKs have been released for the public so you can try them out before everyone else.
The new version of Gmail’s most prominent feature is its update to the Google’s Material Design. The app looks a lot friendlier than its predecessors. More than that little feature, the first thing it asks you when you first log in is if you want to add more accounts. The more surprising thing is that it has an option for other email clients, including Outlook and Yahoo. You can automatically sync your emails from these accounts to the app. You can send emails as these other accounts as well. The app works similar to Google Inbox. More than looking the same, it classifies emails into convenient threads and groups as those found in Google Inbox.
