The series is already available on Netflix for streaming and download on mobile devices and tablets. Globe, as an official partner of the global video streaming service provider, wants to celebrate this new series by holding a Netflix Preview event on January 21 at the Globe Iconic Amphitheater from 3-10 p.m. It’s open to the public so head on over to Bonifacio High Street Central.

Globe and Netflix airs A Series of Unfortunate Events

The story revolves around the three Baudelaire orphans—Violet, Klaus, and Sunny—and their tragic tale under the wing of their evil guardian Count Olaf who would stop at nothing to claim their inheritance. The siblings have to outsmart Olaf at every turn by foiling his plans and many disguises to discover clues leading to the knowledge of their parent’s death.

The books’s surreal plot is captured by season one’s eight-part series, with each episode spanning to half a novel to allow viewers to relish the details while keeping a brisk, cinematic pace. In addition, leading the cast is award-winning actor, singer, and television host Neil Patrick Harris (How I Met Your Mother, Dr. Horrible’s Sing Along Blog, Hedwig and the Angry Inch) who also serves as the series’ producer.
