One of the newest gaming gear ASUS Republic of Gamers released at Computex 2019 is a new portable gaming monitor that offers blistering fast refresh rates for serious gamers. The ROG Strix XG17 features a 17.3-inch IPS Full HD display with a 240Hz refresh rate and 3ms response time, making it the fastest portable display out there at the moment. With adaptive sync, which operates between 48Hz-240Hz, this monitor can get smooth gameplay even from modest GPUs. It even comes with a built-in speaker if you need it.
The ROG Strix XG17 comes with both micro HDMI and USB Type-C connectivity to let you plug in everything from laptops, game consoles, smartphones, to tablets. It adds just a bit of weight, coming in at 800 grams. Its built-in battery supports up to three hours of use with the 240Hz refresh rate enabled. But you can easily juice it up again with fast-charging support. You’re promised up to 2.7 hours of use after charging for an hour.
