Big-screen tablets are becoming more appealing, especially for users who want something that sits comfortably between a laptop and a smartphone, while offering that same portability. In comes the TechLife Pad Pro 12″ which offers a crisp large display, reliable performance, and productivity-focused features, without pushing the price into premium territory.

Whether it’s for online classes, casual work, content consumption, or light multitasking, the TechLife Pad Pro 12″ positions itself as a sensible, no-frills option for users who simply want more screen and fewer compromises.

Design & build

The TechLife Pad Pro 12″ keeps things simple. It comes in three color options – Storm Grey, Ashy Cyan, and Radiant Gold, all topped off with a matte finish. You can’t really go wrong with any of these options as they can appeal to a wide variety of users.

The simplicity and practicality are apparent with its build as well. It features a metal-backed chassis that feels sturdy and reassuring. It’s fairly slim at 7.3mm, but admittedly does have some heft to it at approximately 620g. I would highly recommend to use the tablet on a table or stand for extended periods of use.

Display

The tablet’s 12-inch LCD display is one of its main draws. It features a 90Hz refresh rate, 480 nits brightness, an 85% screen-to-body ratio, and an FHD+ resolution. The resolution is sharp enough for split-screen work, document editing, and streaming, while the large display makes multitasking more comfortable than smaller tablets.

Productivity can be further enhanced with PC Mode which allows you to enjoy a desktop-style interface capable of split-screen and multi-window support. Split-screen can be used in tablet mode as well. The TechLife Pad Pro 12” definitely makes multitasking a lot easier and smoother.

Camera

Camera hardware is nothing special. It features a 13MP main shooter which works fine for document scanning, quick photos, or occasional reference shots. It’s not something you’ll use creatively, but it’s functional.

The front camera is quite modest as well, but thankfully, it’s reliable. Video calls for online classes and meetings come through clearly with the 8MP sensor, which is really all you need from a tablet camera setup.

Performance

Under the hood, the TechLife Pad Pro 12″ is powered by a MediaTek Helio G200 processor. It is paired with 256GB of storage and 8GB of RAM. You also get an additional 8GB of RAM expansion for a total of 16GB.

In real-world use, this translates to smooth everyday performance – web browsing, video streaming, and light multitasking are handled seamlessly. Light gaming is possible as well, especially if MOBA’s are your games of choice.

The device runs on Android 15. LTE connectivity is supported as well. Google Kids Space is also available on the tablet which allows parents to have a dedicated kid-friendly space on the device.

Battery & charging

Powering the tablet is a large 10,000mAh battery, which delivers dependable all-day battery life.  Whether you’re working, streaming or gaming, you will have the power to go uninterrupted and never miss a beat.

Charging is done via USB-C with the TechLife Pad Pro 12” supporting 33W fast charging. From a completely drained battery, I found that it takes 50-55 minutes to get to 50%, and under 3 hours for the full charge.

Verdict

The TechLife Pad Pro 12″ focuses on what matters most: a big screen, reliable performance, and long battery life – all wrapped in a simple, yet classic design. The specs won’t wow power users, but they’re well-balanced for the tablet’s intended audience.

If you’re a student, a young professional, or someone looking for a budget-friendly productivity tablet with a large display, the TechLife Pad Pro 12″ makes a strong case for itself. At Php 13,999, it’s not trying to be premium. It’s trying to be practical, and that’s where it succeeds.
