Phoenix Formula V1 Virtual Cup 2nd season to continues to soar high to keep the racing community alive and kicking this pandemic. Local racers are up for more interesting and challenging race at Batangas Race Circuit.
A total of 110 racers both for AM Class and PRO Class competed on the virtual track for Round 2 Race 3 and 4 which was broadcasted on Tuason Racing’s Facebook Page last October 2 and 9.
Velocce Regado Squadra’s Francis Metrillo and Legion Of Racers Luis Moreno were named as champions in Round 2 of Phoenix PULSE Formula V1 Virtual Cup’s 2nd Season which started last August.
Metrillo dominated AM Class as he stayed out of incidents and worked smart through the field to get the win and valuable points, followed by Jempoy Resing’s Pio Pascual who also got the fastest lap during Race 3 with a time of 01:42.055. RNR Motorsport’s Roi Numer Riparip placed third in this round.
Moreno leads the PRO Class for this round for his raw speed, pace abd proper sim racecraft that earned him valuable wins. Stregawo Veloce Ragazzo Squadra’s Russel Reyes also showed what he can do on the virtual racetracks that lead him to 2nd place. Obengers Racing’s Inigo Anton settles to third for this Round.
A Round 3 crash saw Phoenix PULSE Racing Team’s Vitto Marquez start at the front row on Race 4 and defended his position all throughout the race that made him placed 2nd during Race 4 in the AM Class and Sim Racing Pilipinas’ Daryl Brady started from P2 at Race 4 and defended P1 position all throughout the race from the charging Inigo Anton.He then emerged as the champion for PRO Class during the 4th race as well.
More pulse-racing, adrenaline filled virtual race action will be witnessed on Round 3 this November 13 and 20 to be broadcasted in Tuason Racing and Phoenix Fuel’s Facebook Page.
