Iconic 2024

It was last year when Ford Philippines launched three iconic vehicles – the All-New Ford Mustang, All-New Ford Bronco and the new Ford Ranger Raptor 3.0L V6.

The 7th generation Mustang upheld its legacy as a symbol of power and performance. Ford Philippines launched the latest Mustang in two variants: the 5.0L GT Premium Fastback with a starting retail price of P3,999,000 and the 2.3L EcoBoost Premium Fastback that starts at P3,499,000. Both variants of the All-New Mustang have the MagneRideDamping System with sophisticated control strategies that increase comfort while expanding the sports coupe’s performance limits on the road or on the racetrack.

Meanwhile, the legendary Ford Bronco made a bold entrance into the Philippine market with its rugged off-road capability and striking aesthetics. Ford made available the All-New Bronco in Outer Banks variant with Sasquatch Package at a starting retail price of P4,998,000. The Outer Banks variant with Sasquatch Package offers unparalleled capability in rough terrain with Advanced 4×4 with On-Demand Engagement with its G.O.A.T. (Goes Over Any Type of Terrain) Modes, High-Performance Off-Road Stability Suspension (HOSS) System with Position-sensitive BILSTEIN Shock Absorbers, 4.7 Final Drive Ratio with Electronic-locking Front and Rear Axle, and 17” Black High Gloss-Painted Aluminum with Warm Alloy Beauty Ring and Beadlock Capable Wheels.

Finally, Ford Philippines responded to the growing clamor among off-road enthusiasts as it brought the new Ford Ranger Raptor 3.0L V6 to the country. The Raptor 3.0L V6 is pure power and performance with a 3.0L V6 twin-turbo EcoBoost engine that produces 397PS max power and 583Nm max torque mated to a performance-tuned 10-speed automatic transmission with an anti-lag system available in Baja mode intended for off-road use only.

Enhanced ownership experience

Beyond introducing iconic vehicles last year, Ford Philippines also reinforced its commitment to enhancing the ownership experience with a number of service offerings which include the Peace of Mind and Territory Assure+ programs.

Under the Peace of Mind package, all Ford vehicles are entitled to free inspection which can be availed within 2 months or 2,000 kms, whichever comes first. On top of the complimentary inspection package, all Ford vehicles purchased starting January 1, 2024 also enjoyed free labor on their first (12 months or 10,000 kms whichever goes first) and second PMS (24 months or 20,000 kms whichever goes first) services.

Territory Assure+, on the other hand, aimed to elevate the ownership experience with enhanced services available to Ford Territory owners, which include Express Service, Pick-up and Delivery, Mobility Support and Improved Customer Support. These service initiatives, subject to specific guidelines and availability, are designed to ensure that the Territory ownership experience is convenient and worry-free for previous and current-generation owners.

New leadership

In 2024, Ford Philippines also welcomed a significant leadership change as Pedro Simoes assumed the role of managing director effective December 1st. Simoes has a proven track record of success in driving brand growth, market expansion, and collaborative leadership style.

Prior to joining Ford Philippines, he was part of the Ford Middle East team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE) where he served as marketing, commercial vehicle and fleet director. Before that, Pedro was retail marketing and revenue management director, working with markets in Africa, Middle East and Asia Pacific. Throughout his career, he has held key leadership roles in marketing, brand, products, and sales functions for various automotive brands. He has also gained significant experience in automotive dealer operations, resulting in his deep understanding of the industry.

Electrifying 2025

Looking ahead to 2025, Ford Philippines is set to build on its growth momentum, kicking off with its electrification journey that will introduce a suite of electrified products that will boost its vehicle portfolio. Ford Philippines is expected to leverage on Ford Motor Company’s global expertise in electrified vehicles to cater to the growing demand in the market.

Additionally, Ford Philippines is set to transform the retail experience with its Ford Signature 2025 dealership design, offering customers a more engaging, immersive and personalized purchase and after-sales journey.

Lastly, a new Ford learning facility will be built to enhance the technical expertise of Ford technicians which would further improve the ownership experience. The new facility will also allow for adequate space for Electric Vehicle (EV) training programs, as well as non-technical training for dealer sales and service personnel.

“2025 is going to be a big year for Ford Philippines as we are finally bringing our suite of electrified products to the market, complemented by a new retail experience in our Ford dealerships and better-skilled technical and dealer personnel – all significant elements in delivering a better Ford ownership experience,” shares Pedro Simoes, managing director, Ford Philippines.

With Simoes at the helm, Ford Philippines is moving full speed ahead into 2025 and customers can look forward to an exciting line-up of vehicles and customer-focused initiatives aimed at elevating the Ford brand experience in the country.
