Small business multitaskers
It’s been five years since Epson brought its L-series ink tank system to Southeast Asia and this time around they introduce six new models into the region—the L220, L310, L360, L365, L565, and L655. But we’re concentrating on two of its higher-end small business models: the L565 and L655.

The L565 combines the high-speed, high-volume, low-cost printing capability of the L-Series with a 30-sheet automatic document feeder. It can copy and scan multiple pages without you having to look over it. It can print 33 pages per minute of black and 15 pages per minute of colored.

This device also features both wired Ethernet and Wi-Fi connectivity options, including Wi-Fi Direct, which lets you connect up to four devices without the need of a router. When connected to a network with Internet connection, it supports Epson Connect, a suite of mobile printing solutions that include: Epson iPrint, Epson Email Print, Remote Print Driver, and Scan to Cloud. It also supports third-party mobile printing solutions, such as Apple AirPrint, Google Cloud Print, and Mopria Print Service.

Meanwhile, the L655 is the flagship model of the new L-Series line. Aside from connectivity features like Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and Wi-Fi Direct, it’s also the first ink tank system printer to utilize an Epson PrecisionCore printhead. This lets you print for up to speeds of 13.7 images per minute, making it the fastest L-series in the range.

It also has automatic duplex printing capability and uses a combination of inks that allows you to print black and white printouts that are water and smudge-resistant as well as lab-quality glossy photos when printed on photo media paper. Like the L565, the L655 also has a 30-sheet ADF and supports Epson Connect as well as third-party mobile printing solutions.

The L565 is priced at P13,995, while the suggested retail price for the L655 hasn’t been announced yet.
