Dive into adventure with the DOXA SUB 300T

It’s rare to see something new that owes its design to 56-year-old technology. But this is exactly what the DOXA SUB 300T is all about.

It’s a state-of-the-art high-performance diving watch that has a long heritage, dating back to 1969, when DOXA first unveiled the pioneering SUB 300T Conquistador. Back then, it was the first diver’s watch to come equipped with a helium release valve, a unidirectional rotating bezel for setting no decompression dive times, and an orange dial for exceptional underwater legibility.

Developed for both the general public and the growing number of underwater diving enthusiasts, the SUB 300T Conquistador set the benchmark for what a purpose-designed diver’s watch should be.

And now, more than half a century later, the new SUB 300T (Php 161,000) pays tribute to this historic model. This latest dive watch is a testament to the enduring appeal of the DOXA SUB concept and the unshakeable loyalty it enjoys among professional and recreational divers the world over.

The legend returns with a palette of six original dial colors to choose from: the iconic orange (Professional); the brilliant yellow (Divingstar); an elegant navy blue (Caribbean); the classic turquoise (Aquamarine); an understated silver (Searambler); and a bold black (Sharkhunter). The various dial colors all come with painted indices and hands with luminescent material, while the minute tracks are painted as well. Its numbering is in color for depth and black for time, with the light point at 12 o’clock. All the display elements related to diving information feature a Super-LumiNova luminescent coating to ensure optimal legibility under low-light conditions and underwater. The date window is at 3 o’clock. The latest collection incorporates the design that beautifully defined the SUB 300T Conquistador.

The famous three-handed diver’s watch also brings together all the technical aspects that make it the highly capable, reliable and desirable dive watch for today’s fast-paced multi-tasker.

Created from highest-quality 316L stainless steel, the DOXA SUB 300T’s case has a diameter of 42.5 mm and is topped with a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. The pressure resistance of 120 bar (1,200 meters/4,000 feet) allows diving at very deep depths, thanks to its solid stainless steel construction, screw-down crown, and screw-in case back. In addition, the watch naturally also features the patented unidirectional rotating bezel with dual indication of dive time in minutes and depth in feet for returning to the surface without decompression stops.

The DOXA SUB 300T runs on a 25-jewel ETA 2824-2 automatic, self-winding movement with has a 42-hour power reserve.

DOXA’s timelessly beautiful “beads of rice’ bracelet is also made of 316L stainless steel and sports a deployant folding clasp with the exclusive DOXA fish symbol. A rubber strap version is also available at Php158,000. Despite its substantial weight from its robust stainless steel case and bracelet and sizable 42.5mm x 14mm dimensions, the SUB 300T feels snug on the wrist, thanks to the fine craftsmanship and fit of the bracelet.

In Swiss watchmaking, it’s thoroughly satisfying to still find a brand that is steeped in a rich and fascinating history and which quietly lives up to a relentless pursuit of excellence. DOXA is such a brand. The SUB 300T will always remain one of the most emblematic diving watches in horological history.
