Customers of the Subaru WRX Wagon and Sedan to be gifted with an “STI Kit” upgrade starting this May

Motor Image Pilipinas, Inc. (MIPI), the exclusive distributor of Subaru vehicles in the Philippines, is gifting those who are eyeing the Subaru WRX with a specially put-together STI Kit. Starting this week, the first fourteen (14) customers of this well-loved nameplate will be able to drive home a spruced up version free of charge. The enhancements have been fitted to suit either the Sedan or Wagon versions. They will come in two (2) colors namely:

• Black (photos show Wagon in WR Blue Pearl)

• Cherry Red (photos show Sedan in Ceramic White)

Based off on the Subaru Impreza, the WRX is one the brand’s heritage models. Originally designed for the 1992 World Rally Championship, over the years, it has turned into an accessible sport compact car. Of which owners can enjoy the thrill, power and agility of high-performance driving on everyday roads, outside of race tracks.

The WRX boasts of 2.4L direct-injection turbo engine, an ample torque, and the SI-DRIVE performance transmission which achieves sporty driving beyond expectation through the new powerful engine and a quick, direct shift feel. Not to mention, highly comfortable for daily use, as it is equipped with an “all-around safety” concept. This encompasses quick detect danger, safety on highway or dirt track, a collision-safe body, and eCall or SOS switch. These create the sporty space expected of a WRX—showing style on the road and safety on the go.

The latest iteration of the WRX, along with this limited-time-only offer, can be had in all accredited Subaru dealerships nationwide (complete list can be found in the website).
