Converse Chuck Taylor All Star gets Nike treatment

For the first time ever, Nike’s Flyknit technology makes its way to a non-Nike shoe and it’s finally in the country. The classic Converse Chuck Taylor All Star just got the supportive, light, and strong tech infused into its DNA. It’s not a secret that Nike owns Converse so having the tech make its way to your favorite pair of kicks is expected. The Chuck II even had Lunarlon insoles.

This time the class Chuck Taylor silhouette is wrapped in Flyknit to make the shoe provide you with ample support while keeping it extremely lightweight. The Chuck Taylor All Star x Nike Flyknit also features neoprene lining and the aforementioned Lunarlon insole and micro suede upper to keep things extra comfy. Its breathable upper keeps things cool and it even has a TPU fused toe cap.

Here in the Philippines the Dark Atomic Teal and Black Wolf Gray colorways are available at Converse stores. The brand hopes to carry the Navy version soon. And by October, the low-cut version will be making its way here. For the two aforementioned colorways, the high-cut Chuck Taylor All Star x Nike Flyknit retails for P5,430.
