After the success of the CONS Project Manila last November 28, 2015 in Las Piñas, Converse Philippines is once again spearheading the same event, but this time, in the country’s Summer Capital, Baguio City.
Converse Philippines decided to hold the CONS Project in Baguio wherein recently, the local government turned over a skate area to skateboarders. Thus, giving more focus on the growing skate community in the area.
Over 120 skateboarders together with Converse CONS Regional Skate Brand Ambassador Jeff Gonzales and Converse CONS PH skate influencers Iking Diaz, Jr., Kenneth Evangelista, Rasheed Al Rasheed, Jundin Santos, and CL Paje gathered for a day of intense skate boarding trick.
Maui Hidalgo, resident photographer of Blunt magazine, the only recognized skateboarding magazine in the country by Converse, shared his expertise in skate photography.
CONS Project Baguio caped off with Converse Philippines announcing the turnover of the skate ramps to the Baguio skateboarding community that will serve as a venue to aspiring skateboarders to showcase their skateboarding skills.
What’s next for Converse CONS Project? They’re heading off to Cebu, Baler, and Metro Manila.
