TAG Heuer’s special edition Aquaracer pays homage to the iconic Ref. 844 and is aptly limited to just 844 pieces. The TAG Heuer Ref. 844 was the brand’s first dive watch released in 1978. The latest iteration of this classic diver’s watch is powered by an automatic Calibre 5 movement and features a premium build meant for adventuring. In terms of technical construction, the Aquaracer’s 43mm case is not only pressure and scratch-proof but composed of grade 5 titanium, ensuring its ability to wear and tear through whatever obstacles you take it through either on land or sea. The Aquaracer is rated for 300 meters of water resistance and has a power reserve of up to 38 hours. To signify this rugged and exploratory quality, a diving helmet engraving can be found on the caseback.
Keeping the watch together is a sporty black rubber strap featuring octagonal perforations (meant to match the case’s shape) and a fine adjustment silver clasp. Alternatively, one can opt for a more classic silver bracelet. This option is available on three models with distinct watch face and bezel color choices: black, navy, or white.
TAG Heuer’s latest Aquaracer Professional 300 is available now for preorder. You can also find out more about the watch itself and the different Aquaracer Professional 300 models available for purchase. Delivery will begin on 09/05/2021.
