Mother’s Day gastronomic indulgences at City of Dreams Manila includes a special Sunday brunch buffet at Nobu Manila, exclusive dinner set menus at The Tasting Room and Nobu Manila, a la carte regional specialties at Red Ginger, and floral arrangements and themed gift items at Café Society.

On Mother’s Day, from 10am-7pm, moms enjoy a 30% discount for a 4-hour pass at “DreamPlay by DreamWorks,” the world’s first education-based and interactive play space inspired by films from DreamWorks animation, including Kung Fu Panda, Shrek, Madagascar, and How to Train Your Dragon.
The Mother’s Day celebration package includes a mom’s treat at Gingy’s kitchen where children can create a heart-shaped gingerbread with dedication; spin a treat for mom – mothers get a chance to win a rose, cake, ice cream or apple candy at the Mother’s Day roulette; mom’s photo with Princess Fiona at the photo booth area; children’s activity of create a special Mother’s day card; and an entertaining number of Fiona and the dreamers dance grooves.
DreamPlay promotes the concept of “learning through play” and lets guests engage in exciting, educational, and technologically-rich activities. Both children and adults can make their own 3-D animated movie, build their own toy, learn how to whip up their own dishes in cooking classes, and join in creative storytelling sessions. Guests will also be thrilled as they interact with their favorite Dreamworks characters or push their limits as they try the more challenging physical activities such as wall climbing and rope courses. The Tasting Room
Show mom that she only deserves one of the best epicurean dinners with the Mother’s Day European haute cuisine at The Tasting Room from 6pm to 11pm. Guests will enjoy a delightful array of dishes at P3,300++ per person and at P4,500++ each if paired with a selection of wines. The five-course tasting menu begins with the Duck Leg Confit followed by Atlantic Ocean Calamari with Black Truffle, Pork, Iberico Milk and Tomato Juice. One of the restaurant’s signature dishes, the 52 Degree Egg, comes next, aptly introducing the evening’s entrée – the 65 Degree Pigeon Fillet with peas, coffee raviolis, Jerusalem artichoke, and cocoa sauce. A creamy Pear Sorbet concludes the meal. Guests who will avail of the wine pairing package will be treated to free-flowing Champagne Ruinart Blanc de Blancs; Chablis 1er Cru Vaillons, Daniel Damp, 2013; and Pessac Leognan Red, Clarendelle by Chateau Haut Brion.
Nobu Manila
For a lavish feast, Mother’s Day will be an exquisite gastronomic experience for the family at the acclaimed Nobu Manila restaurant where a Sunday Brunch features 50 unique and delightful treats from 11:30 am to 3 pm. Live action stations and mouth-watering pass-around culinary delights include favorites such as Sea Bass Jalapeño, Okonomi Yaki, and some of Chef Nobu Matsuhisa’s signature dishes such as Tuna Tataki in Cilantro Dressing, and White Fish Tiradito. The Matcha White Ganache Chocolate Fountain with condiments and the oven-baked warm chocolate cake conclude a memorable Mother’s Day brunch rate per person is at P2,800++ pwith sodas, juices, mocktails, and iced tea; and P4,580++ for free flow Moet & Chandon, a selection of Champagne cocktails, Bloody Marys, Mojitos, wines and beer. Moms craving for the freshest seafood and ingredients, highly-acclaimed chef’s whimsical flair in crafting exquisite Japanese-Peruvian cuisine and celebrity-inspired gastronomy will enjoy the seven-course Omakase dinner at the innovative and stylish Nobu restaurant. The Mother’s Day Omakase dinner includes Seafood Ceviche with Yuzu Jelly; Chef Selected Assorted Sushi; White Fish Sashimi with Mango Salsa; Tuna with Sesame Ginger Dressing; Pan Seared Salmon, Roasted Jalapeno Emulsion, and Grilled Shishito; Aka Miso Braised Short Ribs with Nobu Style Cauliflower Risotto; and Sakura Tofu Cheesecake with Macerated Strawberries. Rate is at Php3,800++ and will be available on May 8, from 6pm to 11pm.
Red Ginger
For a taste of Southeast Asian flavors, celebrate Mother’s Day at Red Ginger from May 6 to 8, and choose from the one-of-a-kind a la carte selections. A wide array of Asian delights includes Massaman Prawn Curry Puff; Red Ginger Seafood Platter; Mussels Steamed with Chili, Lemongrass and Ginger; Singaporean Style Pork Satay; Vietnamese Style Crispy Egg Noodle Pancake with Assorted Seafood; Charcoal Grill Pompano Fish; and desserts such as White Chocolate “Bamboo” with Mango and Passion Fruit; and Jackfruit and Coconut Parfait.
Café Society
Express your love for mom with the timeless gift of Mother’s Day flowers such as a potted orchids or a bouquet or basket of liliums and roses. The gift of flowers can be paired with either a chocolate heart cake or assorted pralines and macarons in a dozen and half-dozen varieties. Mother’s Day flowers and sweet treats are available at Café Society from May 2 to 8.
Crown Towers
Crown Towers offers an opulent stay and dine gourmet package from April 1 to December 31, 2016. This room package is ideal for a Mother’s day staycation and includes an overnight accommodation for two at the hotel, with breakfast at Crystal Lounge and an eight-course dining experience at The Tasting Room during their stay. At the Crown Towers Crown Spa, moms are treated to complimentary skincare products from the British skincare label Aromatherapy Associates’ Rose Infinity line. Moms can also have personalized skincare consultations at the spa when they avail of either the “Clear Your Mind” treatment, comprising a 90-minute massage and a 30-minute facial, or the “Rejuvenation” package, which includes a 30-minute bath ritual, 30-minute body exfoliation, 60-minute massage, and 90-minute Crown Personalized Facial. The “Clear Your Mind” package is priced at P6,300 and offers a free 15ml Rose Infinity Eye Cream while the “Rejuvenation” package is at P9,300 and provides a 50ml Rose Infinity Moisturizer. Guests can choose between the four room categories: Nobu Deluxe, Nobu Premier, Nobu Executive, and Nobu Suite, with the total net price package at P11,500, P12,500, P14,500, and P22,500, respectively.
