Eight teams made up of 40 awesome gaming creators participated in the tournament.
The second TikTok GGPH Creator Cup Tournament is officially over, with Chug Juggers emerging as winners. Chug Juggers team members, @verdennn, @deadjahvu, @kenjhungry, @filmreal and @saucy2k_, bested seven other participating teams to take home $600 and Valorant merchandise.
Second placers 7Seas, composed of @deathlessxd, @7s_strykee, @7s_dreix, @7s_cain and @7s_akaishio.ch, were awarded $300 plus valorant merchandise. Players @rukivjp, @superpluu, @7skitsune, @aryannaepperson and @envyyygaming from the Pluwuyanna Supremacy team won third place, and received $100 and Valorant merchandise. Out of 40 creators who played in #GGPHCreatorCup2, @saucy2k_ from the winning team Chug Juggers was declared Tournament MVP, and was awarded another $100 along with Valorant merchandise.
Hosted in partnership with FIGHT Esports, co-presented by Globe, supported by Riot Games, and sponsored by Wallet Codes, ChampTailors, and Galawang Pinoy, TikTok’s #GGPHCreatorCup2 was played over two days, from April 27 to 28, 2021. The game was set within Valorant, a popular first-person shooter game by Riot Games, and was streamed live on the @TikTokGGPHPOfficial account.
TikTok has recently established itself as a new home for gamers online, with tournaments such as Creator Cup helping to grow and solidify the community.
