Chery Auto Philippines has announced Coco Martin as its new brand ambassador. The television superstar will be appearing on various print ads, commercials, and billboards endorsing the fast-growing automotive brand and its Tiggo line of crossovers, in particular the flagship midsize 7-seater Tiggo 8.
Coco Martin will be using the Tiggo 8 for both personal and work-related travel. Here are his thoughts on his exciting new partnership with Chery.
1) Why did you choose Chery as your automotive brand endorsement?
I love cars and motorcycles. Nung unang nakita ko ung Chery, nagustuhan ko agad ung porma. It fits my personality. Lalo ko nagustuhan ang Chery nung na-drive ko siya. Chery is a new brand, pero nung nasakyan at na-drive ko na, nakita ko agad ung potential ng brand. Matagal ko na naririnig ang Chery brand, 12 years na. Masaya ako na nasa mabuting kamay na ang brand under the UAAGI Group.
2) What do you think is the edge of Chery compared to other cars?
Na-drive ko na ung mga Chery Tiggo. Bukod sa maganda ang mga design, sobrang daming features sa loobat very luxurious ung interior. Pang high-end luxury car ung features niya. And you get all that at a very affordable price. It’s very practical, affordable, and has the best warranty. Sigurado ka sa Chery.
3) What is your personal favorite feature in your Tiggo 8?
All features of my Tiggo 8 SUV are great, but my favorite is the Chery Smartwatch Key. Kaya ng watch ko i-start ung car, unlock the doors, open the windows and turn on the aircon; kaya pag sakay ko, malamig na ung interior! It even monitors my health and pairs with my smartphone, kaya pati notifications ng phone ko, natatanggap ko sa watch ko. Isa ko pang favorite is the comfort and the space. Perfect for long rides where I can rest and relax in the leather seats. Ang laki pa ng sunroof kaya luxurious talaga.
4) What can you say about the overall driving experience with the Chery Tiggo 8?
Gusto ko ng malakas na kotse. May turbo ung makina ng Chery Tiggo 8 kaya malakas ang hatak kahit automatic transmission siya. Perfect pag naghahabol kami sa oras dahil sa hectic schedule ko. Pero kahit malakas ang makina, matipid pa rin siya sa gas. Isa ko pang gusto ay ung comfortable ride niya. Malaki at maluwag sa loob ung Tiggo 8 pero ang riding comfort niya ay tulad ng mas malaki pang kotse.
5) What can you say to Chery Philippines and to current and future Chery owners?
I’m really excited to see more Chery Tiggos on the road in the coming days. Perfect ung brand for those who will buy their first car and even for those who want a bigger, more luxurious car than the one they have.
