The Consumer Electronic Show (CES) this year is an explosion of gadgets, devices, and services from tech brands. It’s a gadget geek’s ultimate wet dream but in reality, everyone, even the non-techies, benefit from this tradeshow. Brands left and right are showcasing their offerings for the rest of the year and many choose to announce as many devices and services as possible. Some specialize in a certain “genre”, like say, curved screens.

For Lenovo, their best offerings come in the form of latest-generation laptops and tablets. Their Yoga line gets a boost, as is their entry-level, midrange, and high-end laptops. Here are a few that made us sit up and pay more attention to Lenovo’s latest offerings.

1The Yoga Family

Lenovo’s Yoga line of laptops and tablets are known for being flexible like their namesake. The Yoga 3 is a laptop than can bend 360 degrees, which allows it to have a few modes of use. It comes in 11 and 14 inches, depending on your needs. The Yoga 3 is also as sexy as can be, with the 14-inch variant coming in at only 13mm thick.

The Yoga Tablet 2 may have been announced last year, but this time around, Lenovo as added the AnyPen technology to the mix. This does away with a stylus, opting for any kind of pencil or pen to become a stylus. Yes, you can use a sharp pencil or fountain pen to interact with the Yoga Tablet 2!

2The Flex Family

Touted as an “entry-level convertible laptop”, the Flex 3 may look like your standard lappie, but it actually borrows from the Yoga line as it can also rotate a full 360 degrees to become a thick tablet replacement. It can also bend into a tent-like configuration so you can watch movies with ease. The Flex 3 comes with a full version of Windows 8.1 and can have as much as 1TB of storage and Core i7 processors with corresponding price increases, of course.

3The X1 Carbon

It’s back to basics when it comes to Lenovo’s high-end ThinkPad. The X1 Carbon does away with the modified keyboard layout and brings back the signature TrackPoint button, the little red-orange knob in the middle of the device. The X1 Carbon screams premium portable workstation, sporting a carbon-forged chassis, 5th generation Intel Core processors (i5-i7 depending on variant), up to 8GB RAM, and up to 512GB PCIe SSD storage. It’s noteworthy to mention that according to Lenovo, PCIe solid state drives perform up to 80% faster than other SSDs. It comes in handy when you’re late and you need that PowerPoint presentation up fast, for sure.
