Chinese tech company ZTE didn’t out flagship worthy devices at this year’s Consumer Electronics Show, instead they opted for more affordable devices that are at the moment heading to mobile carriers in the US.
Grand X 3
First up is the Cricket Wireless-bound, Grand X 3. This affordable device will launch at US$129.99 (roughly P6,000). It has a 5.5-inch HD display, Qualcomm 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB internal storage that can be expanded up to 64GB via microSD, and 3,080mAh battery. This runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and will be available in the US later this month.
Avid Plus
Following up the Avid 4G is the one heading to T-Mobile and MetroPCS on January 20th—the Avid Plus. Even cheaper than the Grand X 3, this will retail for $114.99 (about P5,400). This is meant for more casual users with its 5-inch 854 x 480 LCD display, 1GB of RAM, Qualcomm 1.1GHz quad-core processor, 8GB of internal storage with expansion capabilities up to 32GB via microSD, and 2,300mAh battery. This also runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop.
