Smart TVs
Samsung unveiled a crop of new Smart TVs in different sizes, but the big thing is the new smart control remote system, powered by the company’s Tizen software platform. Like the universal remote controls of the ’90s, Samsung’s remote control will let you handle your Smart TV, media players, Blu-Ray devices, gaming consoles, and the home entertainment system without a ton of buttons.

The new TVs are equipped with a refreshed interface that can switch seamlessly between regular TV channels and Internet-driven content down to apps and sites when paired with the smart control remote system.

T3 SSD for smartphones
Smartphones are getting a lot more storage options, thanks to cloud services and increased microSD capacity, but Samsung’s new solid state drive can handle up to 2TB of data storage crammed into a space that’s smaller than a business card. The drive uses the company’s Vertical NAND technology to achieve massive storage data size that weighs around 50 grams.

The drive will work with USB 2.0 and Type-C connectors and was announced to work with Android, iOS, and Windows systems and platforms. With the release of this kind of storage device, a Samsung smartphone with a Type-C connector might already be in the works.

Family Hub Refrigerator
Perhaps the most eye-catching announcement of Samsung is its Smart Fridge. A marriage of fridge and smartphone, the Smart Fridge looks like the standard household appliance with a massive touchscreen plastered on the door.

The Fridge can allow you to make grocery lists, listen to music, post digital notes, and has the capacity to take voice commands. It has cameras inside so you can go voyeur mode on your fresh vegetables. You can also surf for recipes (and watch them on YouTube) using the display, and keep them offline for future reference. The best thing about this quirky food storage device is that it acts as a hub for all your other smart household gadgets.
