While not going too into the nitty-gritty, Alcatel is shelling out the selling points of its PIXI 4 line of smartphones. As mentioned in our previous post, there will be a 3.5-inch and 4-inch smartphones, a 6-inch phablet, and 7-inch tablet.
What we know this time is the 4-, 6-,and 7-inch versions will run on quad-core processors. Sound will be louder and clearer for all apps, music, and video players all around, too, courtesy of the Arkamys-optimized speakers. All devices will also have better power-saving functions, promising up to 25 percent longer browsing. All devices will also speak to your personality as they’ll come in what Alcatel calls a “rainbow of colors,” ranging from cool metallic silver to candy-colored bright cases.
These PIXI 4 devices will also come equipped with Polaroid software to make taking photos a more fun affair. The 4-inch phone and 6-inch phablet will come with front flashes, so yes, you can take those photos in clubs, if that’s your thing.
Even with a 6-inch display, Alcatel promises easy one-handed management of the device because of dedicate software. The phablet will also come equipped with one-finger activation, including double-tapping the display to switch the phablet on.
Meanwhile, the 7-inch tablet can also serve as your phone since it’ll be voice call-enabled as well. Carrying it around won’t be too much of a burden either, plus you get added splash- and dust-protection with IP52 feature included. It can also be an ideal travel companion as it comes with HERE MAPS app pre-loaded on the device.
