The Seagull features a compact yet spacious design, measuring 3,780mm in length, 1,715mm in width, and 1,580mm in height. This makes it ideal for urban environments where maneuverability is key, complemented by a tight 4.95m turn radius. Its exterior is enhanced with striking LED bar tail lamps, power-adjustable heated side mirrors, and stylish 16” alloy wheels, ensuring that practicality does not come at the expense of visual appeal.

Stepping inside the BYD Seagull reveals a thoughtfully designed interior that prioritizes comfort and convenience. The vehicle showcases two-tone seats with luxurious leather accents, creating an inviting atmosphere for drivers and passengers alike. A 10.1-inch rotating infotainment system supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, making connectivity seamless and user-friendly. Additionally, a 7-inch LCD cluster provides essential information at a glance, ensuring drivers remain informed without distraction.

To enhance the driving experience further, the BYD Seagull features a convenient wireless charger, allowing passengers to keep their devices powered effortlessly. Complementing its stylish exterior, the BYD Seagull also offers impressive functionality, with ample cargo space of up to 930 liters when the rear seats are folded, it meets the demands of everyday life, whether for family outings or shopping trips. Advanced technology features include a high-quality 2+2 tweeter sound system, 4G connectivity for on-the-go internet access, and over-the-air updates, ensuring the vehicle remains up-to-date with the latest software enhancements.

At the heart of the BYD Seagull is a powerful 75 PS permanent magnet synchronous motor with 135 Nm of torque, paired with a state-of-the-art BYD Blade Battery Pack, providing an impressive range of 300 kilometers on a single charge. The vehicle supports both DC and AC charging, with a maximum charging rate of 30kW DC and 6.6kW AC, making it convenient for various charging scenarios. Performance is also noteworthy, with the Seagull accelerating from 0 to 50 km/h in just 4.9 seconds and achieving a top speed of 130 km/h, catering to the dynamic needs of urban driving. To further maximize its range and capabilities, the new Seagull also features vehicle-to-load (V2L) functionality, allowing users to power external devices. Additionally, it offers three driving modes, Eco, Normal, and Sport to liven up your driving experience.

Confidence inspiring safety

Safety is a top priority for BYD, and the Seagull has a comprehensive suite of safety features. These include a reverse camera, three rear parking sensors, four airbags, and cruise control, part of the DiPilot suite of features that enhance the driving experience through intelligent assistance. It also has other standard features such as a Traction Control System, Electronic Stability Control, Hydraulic Brake Assist, Electronic Brakeforce Distribution, Vehicle Dynamic Control System, Controlled Deceleration for Parking Brake, Comfortable Stop, Coordinated Regenerative Braking System, Hill Start Hold Control, and a Tire Pressure Monitoring System.

The Seagull has an introductory price of Php 898,000 for the single variant and includes a solid 6-year or 160,000 km bumper-to-bumper warranty package and an 8-year or 160,000 km for the BYD Blade battery. The electric hatchback comes in three colors: Delan Black and Apricity White, featuring a Black and Dark Blue interior, while the Sprout Green offers a Black and Light Blue cabin color scheme, giving buyers various stylish options.
