Simply thinking about a scratched phone screen, especially one as premium as an iPhone. Belkin hopes to ease your worries with its TrueClear Pro 2.0 Overlay, which is available through select Power Mac Center stores.
What TrueClear Pro promises is to give you an extra protection from drops for your iPhone’s screen as well as keeping it scratch free—all without affecting touchscreen sensitivity or the premium look of your iPhone.
And you don’t have to worry about misalignments, bubbles, or dust getting under your screen because this screen protector will be applied by a trained professional at Power Mac Center stores using a proprietary applicator machine. And it takes just a couple of minutes for the screen protector to be applied.
There are two types of screen protection you can have applied. One is tempered glass and the other is Corning Gorilla Glass.
For the tempered glass, suggested retail price starts at P1,090 for the iPhone 8/7/6s, P1,190 for the 8 Plus and 7 Plus, and P1,290 for the iPhone X. And within seven days of application, if there are bubbles or adhesion problems, Belkin will replace the screen protector for you.
Now, for the Corning Gorilla Glass protector, you will need to shell out an extra thousand pesos. So, P2,090 for the iPhone 8, 7, and 6s, P2,190 for the 8 Plus and 7 Plus, and P2,290. If spending that much for a screen protector bothers you, what Belkin promises is a two-year warranty where if anything happens to the screen—whether through normal wear and tear or sheer clumsiness—they will replace the screen protector for you.
Belkin plans to bring the TrueClear Pro applicator machine to all Power Mac Center stores around the country. But for now it’s available at SM Mall of Asia, SM Megamall, SM North EDSA Annex, Greenbelt 3, Abreeza Mall, Robinson’s Magnolia, SM Lanang Premier, SM Aura Premier, Power Plant Mall, TriNoma, Festival Mall, and SM Marikina.
