Who says only phones can fold? The new Bang & Olufsen Beovision Harmony has mechanical, rotating panel speakers that unfold like butterfly wings when you turn it on.
It uses LG’s 77-inch C9 OLED panel, so you’re promised a great viewing experience. Matching this in the audio department, the Beovision Harmony has a three-channel, fully active DSP-based sound system and a 7.1 surround sound decoder.
It also has alternating bands of oak and aluminum in the front, which is said to “maximize acoustic performance.” And it can connect up to eight Beolab speakers, including the Beolab 18, Beolab 50, and Beolab 90.
Do we need it? No. But boy, do we want it. Prepare to drop some serious cash, though. It’s coming out in October for a very cool 18,500 euros (that’s about P1 million).
