Essentially, the ROG XG Station 2 is a dedicated external graphics card dock that allows graphics performance boost to up to more than ten times, thus making virtual reality or triple-A-titles gaming a breeze. This enclosure also supports ASUS’ own Aura RGB lighting and sync with other ASUS gaming devices for a more coherent feel.

An internal 600W 80 Plus Gold-certified power supply provides power to the graphics card while also charging the laptop for up to 100W via the Thunderbolt 3 port. The ROG XG Station 2 also houses four USB 3.0 ports and a gigabit LAN socket at the back to provide more options for connectivity.

Currently, this graphics card enclosure only supports a handful of laptops, namely: the G701VI, GL502VM, and GL702VM from the ROG line; and Transformer Book models T303 and T305CA. More models are expected to support this external dock soon.

The ROG XG Station 2 retails for P29,000 and is now available for purchase at all concept stores and PC gaming shops nationwide.
