ASUS rebrands its commercial ASUSPRO line into the ExpertBook and ExpertPC lines. These devices target large enterprises and put the focus on performance and security. One of the new laptops to arrive for the segment is the ExpertBook P3540.
Built to offer both performance and mobility, the ExpertBook P3540 is designed as the lightest 15.6-inch business notebook. It comes in at just 1.7kg. It features slim bezels that measure 5.6mm to the side. It comes in classic gray for a more practical, business-friendly design. Its chassis has been precision crafted and is built to meet and exceed ASUS’s durability tests.
ASUS’s ErgoLift hinge makes an appearance here as well to make typing and easier experience. It’s also been tested to withstand 50,000 open-and-close cycles. It offers a full 180-degree movement, which reduces stresses on the hinge while also letting you lay the screen flat for easy collaboration/sharing.
The ExpertBook P3540 offers a full-size keyboard that is widely spaced and has long-travel 1.5mm keys. There’s also a dedicated numeric keypad for those who need it.
This laptop is designed to get you through your workday without having to look for an electrical outlet. With the optional high-capacity 70Wh battery, you can get up to 16 hours on a single charge with this device.
It doesn’t scrimp on performance either as you get up to an 8th-generation Intel Core i7 processor, dual storage options that combine an ultra-fast SSD with a high-capacity HDD, and a full set of I/O ports. You get four USB ports, an SD card reader, HDMI, LAN, and VGA ports. The solidly-constructed ports are designed to handle over 5,000 insertions.
As we mentioned, security is paramount for this series. The ExpertBook P3540 comes with a built-in webcam privacy shield, TPM 2.0 security chip for data protection, Kensington lock, and fingerprint sensor.
The ASUS ExpertBopok P3540 retails for P42,995.
