Rumors of a new Apple Watch have been circling ahead of the Apple SE event. Unfortunately, Apple opted out of revealing a new iteration of its wearable but did have some updates for it.
One important update is the entry-level Sport model gets a $50 USD price cut. The 38mm Apple Watch Sport now retails for $299 (around P13,800) from $349.
Another is that there are new different bands to choose from. There are woven nylon bands that come in four different colors, a Space Black version of the Milanese Loop, and other colors for the leather and sport bands.
In terms of the operating system powering the wearable. WatchOS 2.2 is out and this minor update comes with bug fixes and performance improvements. One of the new features is it lets users pair multiple Apple Watches to a single iPhone.
There’s not much else when it comes to Apple Watch news. There’s supposedly a second generation version coming out sometime this year.
