The follow-up to Ridley Scott’s 2012 film Prometheus is set to hit theaters in 2017 and preparing for that is the first trailer for Alien: Covenant. And we have to say it looks properly scary and thrilling.
The trailer shows what the crew of the Covenant is up against as they stumble upon a new planet. As expected, things aren’t what they seem with someone getting infected by a deadly xenomorph. And, of course, things go downhill from there.
Michael Fassbender makes an appearance in this 20th Century Fox film as the artificially intelligent David, who is the survivor of the Prometheus expedition. Fassbender is joined by James Franco, Guy, Pearce, and Katherine Waterston in this science fiction thriller. Alien: Covenant will be coming to movie theaters in May 2017.
