Acer goes after the pros with new Iconia tablets

The modern professional is always busy and usually on the move. But just because you’re in transit or out in the field doesn’t mean work stops for you. And that’s where mobile devices like smartphones and tablets come in. Acer is hoping to help out the working Filipino with their new line of smartphones and tablets. For this post, though, let’s talk about the tablets first. There are three new Iconia tablets summarized below:

The Iconia Talk 7 is the smallest of the three with its 7-inch IPS display. It’s the one that packs in a phone functionality and 3G connectivity. Running on a quad-core MediaTek MT8321 processor, it’s an Android Lollipop-powered device with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD. It also packs in a 3,400mAh battery as well as a 5-megapixel rear camera and 2-megapixel front camera. You can get this for P5,990.

The Iconia One 8 is slightly bigger with its 8-inch HD IPS display. This Wi-Fi tablet runs on a MediaTek MT8151 octa-core processor, 1GB of RAM, Android Lollipop, and 16GB internal storage, which is also expandable up to 128GB. It has a 5MP rear shooter and a VGA front camera. The battery that powers it is rated at 2,500mAh. This retails for P6,990 and comes with a free stylus.

The Iconia One 10 is the biggest of the bunch with a 10-inch HD IPS display and runs on a 64-bit MediaTek MT8163 quad-core processor. This Android Lollipop-powered slate also comes with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of storage with expansion up to 128GB. It has a 6,000mAh battery. If you need to take quick shots, this also has a 5MP rear camera and 2MP front camera. This tablet will cost you P7,990.
