You might associate Garmin with the trusty GPS in your car but they are more than a navigation equipment provider. They provide everything from sports watches, fitness bands, to action cameras that’ll entice fitness buffs and adventurers alike. You can catch a peek or score some items yourself at the first Garmin concept store in the Philippines located at the third floor of Glorietta 5. The store will be officially open on November 24.
What can you expect to see? Garmin is bringing in its entry-level fitness band, Vivofit, and Forerunner 10 GPS running watch.
The Vivofit is meant to get you started on living a healthier lifestyle. It can count your steps, calories, heartrate, and distance. It’ll give you personalized daily goal, track your progress, and even tell the time. The Vivofit will set you back P8,450 but it does promise you a one-year battery life.
The Forerunner 10 is considered a Garmin best seller and a runner’s best friend. It can track your pace, distance, and calories. It also identifies your personal records and provides motivations to keep you going. The Forerunner 10 retails for P8,990.
