Liqui Moly, Germany’s leading oil brand, donates to frontliners

One of the most challenging issues that faces today’s Covid19 battlefield is mobility for the thousands of frontliners who troop to the hospitals, checkpoints and other conflict zones battling an unseen enemy. Liqui Moly of Germany, in cooperation with its Philippine Exclusive Distributor, European Advanced Technik Corporation, joins in the efforts to combat this pandemic by donating Liqui Moly products – engine oils and additives to various frontliner groups in the country.

This is a world wide initiative spearheaded by the Managing Director of Liqui Moly GMBH, Ernst Prost, to show great appreciation to frontliners worldwide who risk their lives in battling this pandemic. At first, it started out as a one million euro initiative and due to the strong worldwide response, it was increased to three million Euros and then to four million Euros by Prost.

“We want to help hospitals, rescue services and fire brigades with free products to be ready for action. A good deed which has been accepted incredibly well, up to now, we have almost 1500 shipments to make…most of them, we will definitely be completed this and next week.” said Prost.  “After only a few days, I realize what a gigantic avalanche I kicked off. I didn’t know that we (thank God) have so many first responder vehicles and hospitals in Germany. We’ll just add an additional two million Euro of free products to those who are looking out for our health and lives! Who wants to be stuck on the open road on the way to the hospital, just because the engine died?” He added.

Liqui Moly has been voted this year by the top automotive and motorsport magazines in Germany, as the best engine oil brand, making it the #1 brand  10 years in a row.  The German brand is also proudly German made. All of its products are produced in two of its factories in Germany.
