Samsung announced today the launch of their flagship Note 10 and 10 plus as well as the Galaxy Tab 6, Samsung Book S, along with the Galaxy Watch Active 2, and several accessories.
Galaxy Note 10 and 10 Plus
For Galaxy Note fans, here’s what’s new on the Note 10 line.
- Center front camera
- Bigger Storage
- Time of Flight (ToF) camera
- 3 microphones for audio zoom function
The S-pen is back, now smarter and better. Use it to capture photos without even touching the screen or write and draw with it like you’re writing on paper. Take smart notes by converting your handwritten notes to text; and easily connect the Note 10 to your PC via USB for seamless work integration.
Samsung also announced its partnership with Microsoft, that literally extends your screen on DeX-mode you can use your PC for answering calls, replying to messages, and mirroring your phone’s screen allowing you to drag and drop files and content from your phone straight to your active documents as well as expand your workspace to the tools available on your PC—all in one connection. Soon, there will be seamless access to each device’s files as cloud syncing will be integrated into Samsung’s gallery over Microsoft OneDrive. These are just a few of the productivity tools that Samsung is bringing onboard along with the Note 10 series.
Truly allowing you to do everything on a single, compact device, the Note 10 is equipped with ultra-wide angle lens allowing you to take stunning photos that can capture more of the world around you. It also comes with a 12MP F2.1 OIS (45°) telephoto lens and the Note 10 Plus has an additional depth-sensing camera. Take great action shots minus the shake and post-process everything as well—all on the Note 10.
Powered by the 7nm Exynos 9825, the device promises to deliver top performance for work or play. Both units come with huge storage—the Note 10 plus has a 12GB RAM/256 GB or 512 GB ROM option while the Note 10 comes in a 8G BRAM/256GB ROM. Battery life is at 4,300mAh on the Note 10 plus and 3,500mAh on the Note 10. With those specs, we just wish Samsung would’ve added a larger battery on the Note 10 given its P53,990 price tag. Both, however, have 45W super fast charging and are Qi-enabled allowing for wireless powershare across its accessories such as the Galaxy Watch Active and Galaxy Buds.
The Note 10 (256 GB) retails at P53,990 while the Note 10 Plus 256 GB variant retails at P60,990 and the limited-edition 512 GB variant, which is available for pre-order only, retails at P72,990. The Note 10 line comes in 3 color— Aura Glow, Aura White and Aura Black, while the Galaxy Note10 will be available in Aura Glow and Aura Black starting from August 23rd. Pre-orders start on August 9 to August 18.
