In case you missed yesterday’s news, Cebu Pacific Air confirms that there was an unauthorized access to a GetGo application server on April 24. This server has been secured. And they confirm that credit card information was not stored on that server. As a precaution, the airline temporarily disabled log-in using GetGo credentials to the cebupacificair.com website and mobile app. Cebu Pacific assures that both of which remain secure.
They have also temporarily disabled all GetGo online channels as they investigate the matter. The airline has informed the National Privacy Commission and are working with them on the investigation.
