24 participating dealers—including three new dealers Isuzu Cebu, Batangas City, and Sta. Rosa—entered their best Parts and Service personnel to compete in this year’s categories. The competitions were divided into two parts, the written and practical tests.

After all results of the participating crews were tallied, and their combined efforts in all categories factored in, Isuzu Pasig emerged as the Dealer Grand Champion.
The ISSO also serves as the main platform where IPC will develop two teams to represent the Philippines in the upcoming 2018 Isuzu World Technical Competition to be held in Thailand on September 12, 2018 (for the light commercial vehicle or LCV category) and in Japan on December 6, 2018 (for the commercial vehicle or CV category).
Since 2015, IPC has consistently placed 5th or higher in the Isuzu World Technical Competition, and a large part of its success has been attributed to the high level of competition at the ISSO, apart from the professional dedication and discipline the Isuzu dealers’ Parts and Service personnel pour into their daily work.
The Philippine Team landed 5th in the CV Category B in 2017, 3rd in the CV Category in 2016, 2nd place in the LCV Category in 2015 and 2016, and champions in the CV Category in 2015.
