Thinking of going cashless? Soon, you’ll be able to pay for your McDonald’s meal using all types of Mastercard and Visa credit, debit, and prepaid cards through the fast food chain’s partnership with PayMaya Philippines. Card payments will soon be accepted at over 40 McDonald’s restaurants in the country. And since it’s a partnership with PayMaya, this includes PayMaya Visa cards and Smart Mastercard.

On top of this, McDonald’s will soon accept PayMaya QR payments at McCafe BGC Arts Center and McCafe Tagaytay Calamba stores. There are also plans to accept QR-based payments in other McDonald’s branches in the coming months. To pay using this option, all you need to do is startup your PayMaya app, scan the QR code displayed at the cashier area in participating stores to pay for your meal.
In the future, you’ll also be able to book and pay for McCelebrations Birthday Party online as well as McDelivery orders.
