As Filipinos content with another sharp increase in pump prices this week, the Electric Vehicle Association of the Philippines (EVAP) is urging the public to discover the options offered by electric mobility at the 14th Philippine EV Summit (PEVS).
To make the event more accessible, EVAP said it is keeping its early bird pass at ₱50 — half the standard gate price — through September 30, and opening free entry to all students with a valid Student ID, for the three-day summit running October 22 to 24, 2026, at the SMX Convention Center, SM Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City.
“Every time pump prices jump, we get a new wave of Filipinos asking us where to start in their EV journey. That is precisely what the Philippine EV Summit is about: a place to discover the cars, tech, and infrastructure they come with and a place to ask practical questions about finances and lifestyle changes,” said EVAP President Willy Tee Ten.
“We want this event to be inclusive, so we’re not just featuring four-wheel EVs but also two-wheels and more. You get to discover the whole ecosystem from charging and safety to policies and investments in the context of the Philippines and ASEAN. We believe these are conversations worth having with all Filipinos,” added Tee Ten.
At PEVS 2026, registrants gain access to test drives of the latest EV models; learn more about charging ecosystems from home setups to large-scale industrial installations; discuss with banking, financing, and insurance partners on-site to run the numbers; and hear from policy experts, including from the Department of Energy, on where Philippine EV policy is headed.
