MG Motor Philippines officially opens the MG Pavilion at the Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS) 2026, marking the next chapter of the brand’s electrification journey in the Philippines under the theme “The Next Wave Continues.”
First introduced at the Manila International Auto Show 2026, “The Next Wave” represents MG’s transformation toward a future driven by intelligent, electrified, and customer-centric mobility solutions.
At PIMS 2026, that journey continues with an expanded lineup of New Energy Vehicles designed to meet the evolving needs of Filipino motorists, reinforcing MG’s commitment to making advanced mobility more accessible to everyone. This year’s participation highlights MG’s continued push toward smarter, more connected, and more practical driving experiences—bringing together innovation, performance, efficiency, and everyday usability in one growing portfolio.
Headlining the MG Pavilion is the official unveiling of three new electrified models that further strengthen the brand’s New Energy Vehicle lineup in the country.
Leading the reveals is the new MG HS PHEV. Named the best Plug-in Hybrid in the UK for 2 consecutive years, the HS PHEV is designed for drivers seeking a balance of premium comfort, advanced safety, and electrified performance. Powered by a 21.6-kWh battery paired with a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine, the vehicle delivers a combined output of 272 PS, a pure electric driving range of 100km, and a combined range of over 1,000 kilometers. The model also features MG Pilot’s full suite of ADAS technologies, dual 12.3-inch displays with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging, and premium interior appointments designed to elevate the everyday driving experience.
Joining the lineup is the all-new MG RX9 PHEV, MG’s newest flagship seven-seater Plug-in Hybrid SUV that combines executive sophistication and versatility in a more sustainable way. Equipped with a 1.5L Turbocharged Hybrid Dedicated petrol engine assisted by an electric motor and a 24.7-kWh lithium-iron phosphate battery pack, the RX9 PHEV produces a combined system power output of 299ps, pure electric driving range of 115km, and a total driving range of over 1,100 km. This advanced electrified performance is complemented with premium features such as dual 12.3-inch infotainment display system, MG Pilot’s full suite of ADAS technologies, a premium, hi-fidelity Bose 12-speaker audio system, ventilated front seats with massage function, 12-way power seat adjustment with memory function, and tri-zone climate control to ensure a more refined experience for every passenger on board.
Completing the trio is the MG4 EV Urban, a compact full-electric vehicle designed for modern city living. Powered by an 110kW electric motor and a 43.2-kWh lithium iron phosphate battery, the MG4 EV Urban delivers an impressive driving range of up to 403 kilometers (NEDC) while supporting fast charging from 20% to 80% in just 35 minutes. Measuring 4,395 mm in length, 1,842 mm in width, and 1,549 mm in height, with a generous 2,750 mm wheelbase, the MG4 EV Urban offers a surprisingly spacious cabin for everyday driving comfort. It features Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) capability, a 12.8-inch infotainment display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a versatile cargo area with 480 liters of luggage space, including a 98-liter underfloor storage compartment. With the rear seats folded, cargo capacity expands to 1,364 liters, providing even greater flexibility for daily errands, weekend adventures, and active urban lifestyles. Combining space, comfort, and smart connectivity in one compact and stylish package, the MG4 EV Urban is built to meet the evolving needs of modern city drivers.
MG Motor Philippines has also announced attractive introductory offers for its newest electrified models. The MG HS PHEV is available with a SRP of Php 1,548,888, while the MG RX9 PHEV carries a SRP of Php 1,998,888. Customers who reserve and purchase either model within the month of June can enjoy a cash token of Php 30,000, bringing down the transaction price to Php 1,518,888 for the MG HS PHEV and Php 1,968,888 for the Php RX9 PHEV. On top of this, June buyers will also be given a 7kW wall charger valued at Php 30,000 for FREE and an additional Php 10,000 retention incentive while awaiting delivery of the vehicle. In total, up to Php 70,000 worth of benefits can be enjoyed by customers who will purchase either model during the launch month.
Meanwhile, the MG4 Urban EV is offered at a SRP of Php 1,198,888, with a special introductory price of just Php 1,148,888 for the first 100 buyers. On top of this Php 50,000 cash savings, buyers will also receive a 7kW wall charger valued at Php 30,000 for FREE. That is a total of Php 80,000 worth of benefits that can be enjoyed by the first 100 customers of the M4 Urban EV.
Reservations for all three models are now officially open starting at only Php 1,000.
