When unfolded, you are greeted with an 8-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display. It has a 2184 x 1968 resolution, and an adaptive 120 Hz refresh rate (from 1 Hz up to 120 Hz). The screen is ideal for both your gaming sessions and long night binges.
On the other hand, when folded, you get a 6.5-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X as well. The cover display has a resolution of 2520 x 1080 and the same adaptive refresh rate as the diagonal screen.
Admittedly, each screen has its own use cases. Either way, when it comes to the quality of the display, you definitely cannot go wrong.
Your photos and videos, just as you had imagined
The Galaxy Z Fold7 is equipped with a triple camera system. Its main shooter (wide-angle) is a 200 MP camera, the first of its kind in the Galaxy Z Series. It is then accompanied by 10 MP telephoto (3x optical zoom) and 12 MP ultra-wide cameras. When it comes to video-taking capabilities, the rear camera can capture up to 8K resolution at 30 frames per second.
For taking selfies, you have the option to use either the 10 MP front camera on the cover or the inner displays. With the use of the cover display, you can also opt to use the main camera for higher-quality selfies. These front cameras, on the other hand, support up to 4K resolution at 30 frames per second for capturing videos.
It is worth noting that you get access to a suite of AI photo and video editing features to ensure your output comes out the way you intended. We know how Gen Z can be quite meticulous about the photos and videos they capture and share on social media.
With the Generative Edit feature, objects can be removed, moved, or replaced instantly. AI would then proceed to fill in the background to make it look natural. Similarly, the Object Eraser removes unwanted elements such as people, text, or clutter.

Under the hood
The Galaxy Z Fold7 is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor which is responsible for driving AI features. Storage options start at 256GB while RAM is at 12GB.
Apart from AI, you can expect the device to be able to handle some heavier loads. Multitasking is fine of course, but you can also do some editing on the device or even play both competitive and AAA titles such as COD Mobile and Genshin Impact, respectively.
Life made easier with Galaxy AI
The AI features are not limited to just photo and video editing. There’s a whole host of features that cater to different needs. The features I’m about to mention are just some of my favorites.
Gemini Live allows you to ask questions by either typing or speaking, and get responses based on what you’re seeing on your camera or screen. This is incredibly useful for gathering more information on your surroundings.
When it comes to productivity tools, there are two fascinating ways Gen Z-ers can take notes during their meetings. Notes Assist can automatically format your notes, create summaries, and correct spelling as well. Transcript Assist on the other hand can turn audio recordings into transcripts for you to read and go over.
I know for a fact that Gen Z loves to travel. However, some of our favorite countries to visit could potentially have a language barrier. Live Translate takes care of that as it gives you real-time translation, whether through voice or text.

The Galaxy Z Fold7 has what it takes to keep up with your non-stop lifestyle. It is equipped with a 4,400 mAh battery. With mixed usage, this can translate to a full day of battery.
In terms of charging, the device comes with a 25W Type-C charger. Samsung states that charging to 50% from a fully drained battery can take approximately 30 minutes. If ever you need to charge, a short 30-minute break should be enough rest for you, and enough charge for your smartphone.
