Mitsubishi aims to maintain the Xpander’s standing in the sales charts by giving it an update for the 2026 model year. The aesthetic revisions may be few, but it’s the cabin amenities that take the spotlight for this update. All in all, the Mitsubishi Xpander and Xpander Cross are now more confident to bring in your everyday drive.
Starting with the design, the new Xpander gets a new front grille that gives off a more sophisticated appeal. Its upper lining is also flush with the Daytime Running Lights that emphasize the width of the Xpander. Best of all is the new chin on the front and rear bumper that’s connected via the side skirt, resulting in a more subtle yet sporty look for the standard MPV.
For its part, the Xpander Cross is more beefy than ever. There’s a new honeycomb grille, the front bumper has vertical guards for a stronger look, and the lighting has been improved for better throw at night.
Both iterations get 17-inch alloy wheels that are designed to complement their respective variants.
The Xpander still comes with black fabric while the Xpander Cross is now clad in black/burgundy leather trims. The Xpander GLS and Xpander Cross also get new toys in the form of 8-inch digital instrument cluster, a 10-inch touchscreen with Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, new steering wheel design, and the second-row center armrest now has a headrest.
Mitsubishi’s Active Yaw Control that improves cornering ability has now trickled down to the Xpander GLS. It also gets a 360-degree camera, which is also introduced in the Xpander Cross. Together with Hill Start Assist, Stability Control, and Traction Control, you’ll be now more confident when driving the Xpander GLS and Xpander Cross even in tricky situations and unfamiliar roads.
The 2026 Mitsubishi Xpander starts at PHP 1,099,000 for the GLX MT, PHP 1,159,000 for GLX AT, PHP 1,259,000 for GLS AT, and the Xpander Cross comes in at PHP 1,378,000. The Xpander has 9 colors to choose from while the Xpander Cross has 3 that all come with black roof. It will be on display at the SM Mall of Asia Entertainment Hall from August 29 – 31, 2025.
