World Performance Car of the Year 911 models showcased at highly successful PGA Cars World of Supercars.

At the PGA Cars World of Supercars, Porsche Philippines simultaneously launched two significant 911 models — the groundbreaking Porsche 911 Carrera GTS with innovative hybrid technology and the limited-edition Porsche 911 Turbo 50 Years, a tribute to five decades of the brand’s Turbo heritage.

The 911 Carrera GTS is the first 911 to get a performance-oriented hybrid power plant.

Underscoring this significance is the 2025 World Performance Car title which the 911 Carrera GTS received from 96 international automotive journalists voting at the prestigious World Car Awards, held annually for over two decades now.

At the core of the model is the T-Hybrid system consisting of an electric motor inside the exhaust turbocharger — called eTurbo — a high-output drive battery, and another electric motor integrated into the 8-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission.

The eTurbo’s electric motor provides full boost pressure all the time. It also generates energy that is sent to the electric motor inside the PDK or used to charge the high-output battery. The motor inside the PDK then provides extra power to the engine even at idle speed.

All this ensures immediate and powerful response regardless of engine speed or load.

Matched to the T-Hybrid system is a newly developed 3.6-liter twin-turbo flat-six engine. The engine and hybrid system generate 541 hp and 610 Nm of torque.

It allows the 911 Carrera GTS to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.0 seconds and reach a top speed of 312 km/h.

Complementing the hybrid power plant are rear-axle steering, sports suspension with variable damping, and a ride height lower by 10 millimeters.

In the cabin, the 911 Carrera GTS features the Porsche Driver Experience that puts controls on or around the steering wheel. The start button is placed on the left of the steering wheel.

The fully digital instrument cluster with a 12.6-inch display can be individualized, while the Porsche Communication Management (PCM) system is operated via the 10.9-inch central display.

Marking the exterior of the 911 Carrera GTS are more aerodynamic elements like the GTS bumpers, vertical active cooling air flaps, and adaptive front diffusers. The matrix LED headlamps now house all light functions.

Found at the rear are a new light strip and Porsche logo, and a grille that now has five fins per side.

For its part, the 911 Turbo 50 Years is based on the current-generation 911 Turbo S — also a World Performance Car of the Year winner.

Limited to only 1,974 examples worldwide as a nod to the year the original 911 Turbo was released, the 50th anniversary model is powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.7-liter flat-six engine producing 650 hp and 800 Nm of torque.

The output is transmitted to the 8-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission and the active all-wheel-drive Porsche Traction Management (PTM) with Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus).

The combination accelerates the sports car from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.7 seconds, and to a top speed of 330 km/h.

A sports exhaust system with black tailpipes and the Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) sports suspension are standard to the model.

The 911 Turbo 50 Years’ interior and exterior evoke historic 911 Turbo models, with elements like Anthracite Gray accents and the iconic McKenzie tartan that is used on the seat covers and door panels.

The commemorative 911 also features the exclusive Turbonite color for the engine cover inlays, fuel tank cap, Porsche crest, and the Turbo 50 logo. Also in Turbonite are the 911 Turbo S Exclusive Design wheels.

In the cabin, Turbonite accents are found on the seatbelts, controls, seat stitching, trim strips, and the Porsche crest on the steering wheel.

Above the glove compartment is an anniversary plaque with the Turbo 50 logo and the individual limited-edition number of the car. An analog clock with a special Turbo 50 design adorns the dashboard.

With the simultaneous debut of the 911 Carrera GTS and the 911 Turbo 50 Years, Porsche Philippines reinforces Porsche’s class-leading technology, iconic design, and unmatched driving performance.
