Insta360 Nano
Price: P12,990

Taking 360-degree videos and photos is the new it thing. Facebook even recently announced that it plans to introduce 360-degree live videos to its platform. This new Insta360 Nano makes it easy to do just that. It works with an iPhone 6 and 6 Plus or with the latest generation of iPhones. It has fisheye lenses if you like that effect and it allows for real-time live streaming. Our initial impression of it is that it seems more manageable and easy to whip out when you need it.

RoadEyes recSMART
Price: P9,990

With the traffic-riddled metro, tempers run high and sometimes incidents happen because of this. Enter the new RoadEyes recSMART. It’s a removable dashboard camera that shoots in Full HD with a 140-degree wide angle lens. As mentioned, it can detach from its base so you can take it out of the car and record any bumps and scrapes you need to. The camera has a wireless remote button you can trigger to take footage or photos without needing to work with it using a smartphone. It even has a “G shock sensor” to start recording when things like sudden acceleration, excessive braking, and heavy movements while swerving happens.

Sphero SPRK+
Price: P8,890

What really caught our eye at the event was something that looked like a round toy at first glance but is actually a learning tool for kids or non-techie adults alike. Sphero, the company made popular by the BB-8 Droid, introduces the SPRK+. It’s a spherical robot that’s controlled through the Lightning Lab app. It’s designed to teach coding in a fun way. Through the accompanying app, you can see activities you can do with the droid as well as share your own discoveries with the community of SPRK+ users. This bot can do things like paint, run through a maze, dive into water, and many more. It can take a bit of damage too as it’s protected by a strong, scratch-resistant UV coating.
